U3A's  " Sun Dancers ".....

......Would like to welcome YOU!

If you'd like some gentle exercise to foot-tapping music in a friendly environment, this could be for you!

We meet every Monday in the main hall at the CPC in Oliva.  Our class for Beginner Dancers runs from 10 - 11 am where our teacher, John, instructs people who are new to Line Dancing in the basic steps and teaches less complicated dances.  Our class for Intermediate Dancers runs from 11am - 12.30 where John guides us through more complex dances and includes a period of free-dance where requests can be made.

John Sandham is a well-respected professional line dance teacher and choreographer with more than 25 years experience, who travels weekly from Altea to keep us all in line!  Those of you who have visited Benidorm may be familiar with him from classes and events at the Red Dog Saloon there.

These days, not all Line Dancing is to Country and Western music - we dance to songs from Michael Buble, Roy Orbison and Enrique Iglesias to mention a few, so don't worry if you're not a big Country music fan, there are sure to be other songs that you'll enjoy.

Most of all, the Line Dance group is a very sociable one, with plenty of chatter in class and frequent short breaks to 'catch up' in between dances.  Following the Intermediate class, many members get together and have lunch round at Bar Pelut.

If you think it sounds like it might be for you, why not come along and try it? The first month for all new members costs 3 Euros  weekly. Thereafter, 5 Euros weekly, on a pay as you come basis.  If you have any questions or you'd like to find out more about us, or just have a quick chat, please contact either our Group Leader, Betty on 962 808 471, or Paddy on 962 893 206

We hope to see you soon!!
